Group B of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 concludes on Wednesday at the Bellerive Oval in Hobart, with two-time World Champions West Indies facing off against Zimbabwe (October 19). After losing their first game to Scotland by a huge 42 runs on Monday, West Indies must win this match if they are to advance to the Super 12 round.
However, Zimbabwe beat Ireland in their first game courtesy to an outstanding performance from Sikandar Raza. However, Ireland has recovered from that loss on Wednesday by beating Scotland by six wickets, keeping them in contention for a Super 12 qualification spot.
Both the West Indies and Zimbabwe still have a shot at qualifying for the tournament provided they can beat their respective opponents on Friday: Ireland and Scotland, respectively. If West Indies loses, the defending champions will go home quickly.
