Everyone was surprised by how much fun the first game of the Twenty20 World Cup in 2022 was. No one could have thought it would be so much fun. The Sri Lankan team that won the Asia Cup lost to Namibia by a score of 55 runs. Let’s take a look at this contest, which sounds like a lot of fun.

After the match on Sunday at Kardinia Park in Geelong, Australia, Sri Lanka won the toss and chose to field first. Namibia said yes to the offer. In his turn at bat, the Namibian batsman scored 163 runs throughout 20 overs as stated by The Australia Time.

Jan Frylincks played a mature inning in which he scored 44 runs in 28 balls and had a strike rate of 157. Unfortunately, Kusal Mendis ran him out, but Smit finished the game well for his team. He got 31 runs in only 16 balls, with two fours and two sixes. Namibia lost three important wickets in the first few overs of the game. After 20 overs, Namibia had a total of 163 sevens.

SRI LANKA’S BATSMAN DISAPPOINTED HIS TEAM.

By the start of the 19th over, Sri Lanka’s batters had only scored 108 runs and lost all their wickets when they ran into each other. In the modern game of cricket, 164 is not a very hard total. Dasun Shanaka is the team captain for Sri Lanka and has scored the most runs for his team. He went up to bat 23 times and made 29 runs.

Man of the Match went to Jan Frylinck (44 runs in 28 balls).
