Broken nose wheels caused the jet to crash into the ground and catch fire. Reports say that neither the pilot nor his passenger was hurt. This problem began in the sky above Adelaide and ended about 700 km away as reported by The Australia Time.
Shortly after takeoff, the pilot realized there was a problem. He decided to make an emergency landing more than two hours later. A nice plane once had to land spectacularly because of an emergency.
Tracking data shows that the two-engine Rockwell Commander flew over the western suburbs of Adelaide and along the coast before cautiously landing at Adelaide Airport.
After that didn’t work, the pilot took off again and flew to Melbourne’s Essendon Fields Airport in the northwest to make an emergency landing. As expected, the nose wheel got stuck when the plane landed, causing the nose to scrape the ground.
At first, everything looked safe, but scary flames shot up from the edges out of nowhere. Even with what happened, both people could get off the plane.
